Reyes Escalera Pérez is Professor of Art History at the University of Malaga, Director of the TIEDPAAN research group (HUM 0283) and President of the Sociedad Española de Emblemática. Specialist in Baroque visual culture, her academic researchs include baroque festivals and ephemeral architecture, applied emblematics, iconographic studies, mythology, the history of engraving and Malaga’s heritage. Fields on which she has published books, book chapters, conference proceedings and scientific papers. She has also contributed to many national an international scientific meetings.
She is assessor of the National Quality Agency (ANECA), Commission 29-Art, member of the Network of Experts of the National Evaluation Agency (Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities), and, also, member of the Network of Experts of the Agency for the Quality of the University System of Castilla y León.
