Belén Galván is a postgraduate student at the University of the Basque Country, having graduated from the same university in Classical Philology. She holds an M.D. in Comparative Literature and Literary Studies and is currently developing her PhD research on Classical and English Receptions of Death, from Greek epic to the Harry Potter saga. She has presented papers at national and international conferences on the actualization and subversion of classical myths of katábasis and immortality in modern literary and audiovisual texts.
