Dr Aitor Seijas Conde (1993) holds a PhD in Comparative Literature and Literary Studies through the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Through his academic career he has focused mainly on the study of spatial configurations in literature, making contributions mostly through the scope of Geocriticism, Ecocriticism and Hegemony studies by paying close attention to the socio-political sphere of space and its articulations which modulate and perpetuate power relations.
He has also taken part both as a speaker and organizer in several national and international congresses. He currently works as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher.
