Jesús Camarero is Professor at the University of the Basque Country (Spain). As a university professor, he has mainly tought French Literature, Literary Critic and Comparative Literature. His research interests are related to Semiotics, Autobiography, Literature Theory and Comparative Literature. He is the author of essays about literary theory such as El escritor total (Arteragin, 1996), Metaliteratura (Anthropos, 2004), Intertextualidad (Anthropos, 2008), Michel Butor autobiographe (EUE, 2010), Autobiografía (Anthropos, 2011), La ficción metaliteraria (EAE, 2014), Epistemocrítica (EAE, 2015) and Narratividad y hermenéutica literaria (Anthropos, 2017), and some other articles published in specialized magazines. He has translated Georges Perec and Michel Butor from French into Spanish.
