Iker Arangay is a postgraduate student of the University of the Basque Country. He graduated from a degree in English Studies during the years 2014-2018 and also coursed a Master’s Degree on Comparative Literature and Literary Studies in 2018-2019, both at the University of the Basque Country. He also completed a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teaching in 2019-2020 at the Public University of Navarre. For the last two years he has been working as an English teacher in different secondary education in schools in Navarre. At the same time, he has also been working part-time on his PhD under a Doctoral Programme in Comparative Literature and Literary Studies in the University of the Basque Country, where he is writing a doctoral thesis about J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter. As a speaker, he has participated in an international conference about science fiction and fantasy, Messengers from the Stars: Episode V, that took place in Lisbon in 2018.
