Isabel Burruel de Larrañaga (1999) is a postgraduate student of the MA “Europe and the Atlantic World” at University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, where she studies fear as a social control mechanism in Castille during the late Middle Ages and the Early Modern period (14th-16th centuries).
