Joserra Gutiérrez. (Barakaldo 1966) studied Higher Studies in Music and a Master’s Degree in Musical Composition with New Technologies.
He began teaching new technologies for musical application at Mrjam (1998-2010). He has He has been a professor of Musical Informatics at the EMM «Luis Aramburu» in Vitoria-Gasteiz since 2003.
He has given courses in this field for teachers of Music Schools, Conservatories and has participated as a participated as a speaker in courses organised by the Basque Government.
He has composed the original music for several feature films for cinema (Olentzero, Izarren Argia…), TV series (Gernika under the bombs, etc…), theatre and children’s songs. He has collaborated with several composers making orchestrations, adaptations and arrangements for symphonic, chamber and band ensembles.
He is currently director of the «Luis Aramburu» Municipal Music School in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
