M. Carmen Encinas Reguero has a PhD in Greek Philology with a study of the influence of rhetoric on Sophocles’ early tragedies. She held a postdoctoral position at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (Germany), and currently she is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Classical Studies at the University of the Basque Country (Spain). Her research focuses mainly on Greek rhetoric, tragedy and satyr drama. In these fields she has published numerous articles and book chapters.
